Answer this question
A:
The use of a panhard bar is to control the side to side movement of the front axle. A sway bar controls body roll and it would be up to you if you want to run a sway bar on your car.
Q:
Will this panhard setup work with split wishbones rather than 4 bar radius rods?

Answer this question
A:
This kit will work on 35-40 Ford cars with stock style spring ahead suspension and with standard wishbone, split wishbone, four bar, or radius rod applications. It will not work with a 41 chassis, and the kit is simple to install. It mounts underneath the spring cross member at the U-bolts and on the other end to the I beam axle by drilling two holes. At ride height the panhard bar should be at or close to parallel with the ground.
Q:
will this work on spring behind, 4" drop axle your p/n kit 91339010? If not what do you recommend? Thanks, Jim

Answer this question
A:
Part number 91639110
This is designed for a spring in front of the axle application such as the 1935-40 Ford. If clearance is available the mounting could possibly be reversed and put behind the axle. Location of the spring in relation to the axle would determine fit and the end result would need to have the panhard bar parallel to the ground at ride height with the weight on the vehicle.
