Nice piece to replace the usually worn a

April 10, 2015
It is important to use a new piece like this when setting up your new clutch/pressure plate to ensure even pressure. However I did find that I had to put a 7/8" reamer through the shaft boss as it would not fit the new 7/8" shaft . It was also out of round??
Yes, I recommend this product.

Poorly Machined

April 26, 2014
I bought 2 of theses fork one from Speedway and another company. They were both the same. Both poorly machined, one had the pin hole drill off center and at an angle, the other while drill on center was still drilled at an angle. There was no way to get the pin through the shaft and the pin hole in the fork. I had to ream the fork and the shaft assembed, which resulted in a loose fit on the lower side of the fork. I used this assembly with the Speedway flat head transmission adapter for a Muncie 4 speed to a flat head adapter from Cling's for my Model A 4 banger in my Speedster.
Pros:
  • could be your only choice
Cons:
  • poorly machined
Yes, I recommend this product.
