Save yourself searching and confusion with these complete 1932-34 Ford front suspension kits. Each kit includes a 48" wide 4" drop I-beam axle, our famous urethane-bushed 21" long four bar assembly, perch bolts, lower shock mounts, spring shackles, Super Glide spring and the necessary brackets and hardware needed for assembly.

Requires '37-'48 Ford passenger car spindles.

Each kit includes:

  • 48" kingpin-to-kingpin I-beam axle, 4" drop
  • Urethane-bushed 21" long 4-bar assembly
  • Forged steel perch bolts
  • Forged steel lower shock mounts (key-slotted design)
  • Spring shackles w/ nylon bushings
  • 31-1/4" eye-to-eye 4-leaf Super Glide cross spring
  • All hardware for assembly

Notes

We strongly reccommend the use of a front panhard bar (such as our 910-49801) with four bar front suspensions. Four bar suspensions increase suspension travel over original wishbones or radius rods, which increases the need for side-to-side axle control. If using a Vega cross steering system, the panhard bar becomes mandatory as any side-to-side movement will cause bump steer.

Speedway's exclusive steering & brake kits save you time and money by combining all necessary parts into one part number. Each kit includes brake kit, spindles, dust caps, spindle nuts, Rubber Brake Lines, AN3 caliper fittings, kingpins, flat steering arms, tie rod assembly and hardware.  

  • For 48" kingpin-to-kingpin axles
  • Traditional steering arm for left front wheel NOT included with Traditional steering kit
  • Available with 5x4.5" or 5x4.75" hubs

Ford Wilwood Front Brake & Steering Kits - 48 Inch Axle
                        

Speedway's exclusive steering & brake kits for 1937-48 Ford spindles save you time and money by combining all necessary parts into one part number. Each kit includes premuim Wilwood brake components, spindles, flat steering arms, tie rod assembly and hardware. Hubs are drilled for both 4-1/2" and 4-3/4" bolt patterns. Must be used with a 15" or larger wheel. For use on cars up to 2800 pounds with rear discs or on cars up to 2400 pounds with rear drums. Kits can be used with either manual or power boost master cylinders.

Features these Wilwood components:

  • 4-piston Forged Billet Dynalite Calipers
  • 10-3/4" diameter x .38" thick solid steel rotors - black finish
  • Lightweight clear-anodized aluminum hubs

Choose:

  • Traditional or cross steering
  • Chrome or plain steering arms and tie rod cross bar

Front Panhard Bars
                        

With cross steering a Panhard bar is a must-have. It stops side-to-side sway of chassis relative to the axle. This bar is for spring-over-axle, 4-bar front ends on 1928-1934 Fords.  Tube O.D. is 5/8".

  • 11/16" outside diameter
  • 1/2" inside diameter
  • 1/2" bolt
  • 1/2" heim

Chassis bracket welds-on, then bar bolts in place to the side of the 4-bar batwing. Panhard bar bracket mounts to a batwing that features a 4-1/2" on center four-bar spacing.

Ford Model T - 1934 Front Spring U-Bolt Kit, Plain Steel
                        

Use with original or reproduction Model "T" thru '34 Ford crossmembers. Includes two U-bolts with nuts, one spacer plate and one lower bracket.

Weld-On U Bolt Plates
                        

This kit will clean up the appearance of your front crossmember. It has two plates that weld to the crossmember, and another plate that holds the spring from the underside, eliminating the need to have the U-bolts come up over the top of the crossmember.

Speedway 1928-1948 Ford Forged Spindles w/ King Pins
                        

These Speedway spindles are one piece, drop forged design constructed of high strength 4140 steel, which makes them superior to original components. These spindles are modeled after the '37-'41 round-back design and use '37-'41 Ford king pins.

These spindles fit Ford axles from '28-'48. They can be used with period correct drum brakes or modern Speedway Motors disc brakes, but will not work with hubs from '28-'36.

  • Uses 1937-1941 king pin kit
  • For Ford axles 1928-1948
  • Will not work with 1928-1936 Hubs
  • Includes king pin kit

Be sure to include our spindle nut kit (910616004) to properly install these spindles.
