What's in the Box

Info

These polished stainless steel headlights work with 1930-31 Model A Fords.  They feature a 12 volt quartz halogen bulb behind the original lens. The light is 9"  in diameter and attach to the headlight bar with the long bolt thru the bottom and then through the bar.

The wires on the Model A headlight come out the back side thru a brass fixture that will accept the common conduit used on the Model A’s. This would be an excellent choice and we also offer others with the wires exiting the light through the attachment bolt if desired.

This headlight features a high output Halogen H4 dual filament bulb that is replaceable under part number 91064193. It does have high and low beam function.

  • There is a Ford scripting logo on the lens of the light

when this headlight is on high beam does both filaments light and when it is on low beam only one? the model a has a wire for low and a wire for high. when the low beam switch is on only the low beam wire is energized. When the high beam is on the high beam wire is energized and low beam wire is not. My question is high beam separate from low beam ( meaning one wire and filament for low and one wire and filament for high ) or does both filaments need to to be on for high beam?

Low beam has one wire and one filament. High beam has one wire and one filament. Both filaments are not powered when on high beam and when a filament burns out only that function is effected so when you lose the low beam it will not illuminate and when you lose the high beam that function will be lost.

These lights take a common H4 bulb with the 3 spade connector as used for seal beams. If your A4 xenon bulb has the same configuration they should work without problems.
