1928-31 Model A windshield rubber for closed cars (not supplied with our windshield frames). "T" style windshield rubber seals between the windshield frame and body. Comes with 7 feet of 1" width. Seal is 1" tall from bottom to top of T. Top of T is 1/4" wide.

I have a 1931 Ford coupe with a 6" chop.How hard is it to fabricate to fit my car?Would the glass become the support? How do you recommend I reattach after altering the frame?

On a Model A coupe that has had the top chopped you will also need to alter and section the windshield frame to fit the body. Once the frame fits the body opening then the rubber is simply cut to the proper length. Another option would be a flush mount stationary glass that is urethaned in place and using a basic glue in moulding.

Part number 55592810 This rubber will work on the closed car Model A’s and for the Cabriolet we offer windshield frame number 55528401 in plain or 55528403 in polished.
