Great product, as usual

A strong great fit, best for full fendered rods where it won't be seen easily, if you want a piece that will be more visable then the 32 crossmember is a better way to go.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Good for any model A or B

August 27, 2010
I used this for my 32 five window with 33 frame rails. I know it's for a model A but, a rod is a rod and a crossmember is a crossmember. I was going to make my own but again Speedway offered a heavy guage steel part at a price that made it worth not having to do all that work. The longer length is also nice to work with. Front ride height came out just fine on my 33 rails.
Yes, I recommend this product.

When using the dropped model A cross member a 32 radiator may not clear without spacing up the mount tabs in order for the lower tank to not sit on the cross member and possibly cause problems down the road. The 32 cross member has stands for the radiator mount tabs to set on and also the 32 cross member can be used in an A frame

I have purchased this item from Speedway, but I am unsure how to bolt the front of the motor in now. I am going to be using an original flathead 4 banger motor and this does not let you mount the motor the same way. How do i go about using this and mounti

This is a lowering cross member to drop the original ride height down by 2 inches. Commonly used in hot rod applications but can be used as an original replacement. Front motor mount capability will need to be fabricated as needed to meet customers demands.

We suggest new U bolts kit 91633006 for safety but it could be possible to reuse yours if they are in perfect condition.

The model A's sat fairly level when new and now in hot rod use normally the front sets lower. To get 5-7 degree caster which is lean back of the spindle at the top the cross member can be welded in at the desired angle. To avoid shackle bind adjustable spring perches such as 91033042 can be used to fine tune the alignment.
