This crossmember mounts the transmission and will have no effect on the pinion angle of your rear end. If you are looking for 3 degrees of angle in your engine and transmission then you will need to mock up your setup and use a jack to simulate the 8 3/8" from the top of the tube to the top of the trans mount plate on this mount.

It will work with the C-4 and AOD if you tap the mounting holes to fit the C-4 and AOD. Just be sure to mock the cross member up before tacking and welding.

You may be able to modify this mount to accept a Ford AOD transmission but it will not fit as is. Sorry we have not tried that modification yet so I'm not sure of the exact steps you will need to take to make it work on an AOD.

The crossmember you are asking about has an 8 3/8" drop, from the top of the crossmember to the trans mount surface. The square crossmember is 2" x 3" square tube.

This cross member is made for a Ford Model A. You will need to take some measurements on your S10 to be sure it will fit properly. The measurements of this crossmember are: 30" wide 2" x 3" square tube 8-3/8" from top of tubing to top of plate (top of the crossmember to the trans mount surface)
