how are the post mounted to the bucket ? what hardware if any comes with it

There are threaded bosses cast onto the backside of the Windshield Posts. By making a paper template of the layout of the backside of the post you can transfer that to your cowl and make correspondingly shaped holes in it. This will allow you to set the posts in place and thread bolts in from the backside to secure the posts in place. Doing it like this gives you a perfect opportunity to fabricate a reinforcing structure to place within the cowl and tie the windshield posts directly to the firewall and the cars’ chassis. This will go a long way in supporting the windshield, keeping the dash area shake-free and allow for a substantial support for the steering column. Please consider these items for your next purchase and let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Will these windshield posts fit an existing 1923 T bucket body from Total Performance? The holes have already been drilled in the body. Also, why are the mounting holes not visible in the picture for this product?

These posts will not directly fit the Total body without some body work. They are made to fit a Speedway body, and that is why you see no bolt holes in them. We use a hidden bolt boss that bolts in from the inside of the body.
