What's in the Box

Info

These halogen sealed beams feature custom-designed glass lenses that are manufactured to each specific application.  They use a non-reflective bottom shelf for increased lamp effectiveness in rain, snow, and fog.  A special grinding process on the aiming pads forms a perfect plane, making headlight aiming an easy process.  They feature high-grade brass terminals and a glass exhaust tube.

This is a halogen replacement headlight for the standard 7” Dietz type, seal beam number 6014.

Above and beyond!

April 18, 2016
Headlight I ordered arrived broken in transit. Speedway immediately sent me a emplacement by express mail. While a replacement was expected, I did not expect Speedway to send it by expedited shipping. I thought that was "above and beyond".
Yes, I recommend this product.

7" sealed beams were adopted for the 1940 model year by the entire auto industry, except for Willis and they adopted the following year. These were standard until 1958 when dual headlights came out on some cars and still used through the sixties, seventies and into the eighties. Today they are a special order item at almost any auto parts. If you need 7" sealed beams for your Brit car, muscle car, jeep or other old car, your are not going to beat these halogen headlights for $12 each. They come in NAPA packaging and are marked Wagner 12v and DOT approved. The NAPA box says made in China, but the sealed beam unit has no country of origin noted. These are a deal, replace in pairs for best result
Pros:
  • good reliable product, can't find any
Yes, I recommend this product.

Do you need a relay between light switch and Halogen replacement bulb? My pickup is a hot rod with a 12 volt system with typical headlight switch. Headlights are King bee's with 7" sealed beams, they are just not bright enough.

Adding a relay can help to brighten your headlights up. It depends upon how much voltage drop you have across the current headlight switch as to how much difference it will make.
