These LED bulbs put out the light you're after, but don't get hot like normal bulbs. 1" diameter, choose red or amber. 1157. 1157 have staggered pins and 2 contacts.
The bulbs appear to be clear, but are the correct color when illuminated.
when I tried to install the bulbs I found they did not fit the older (1975) bulb sockets on my Chevy truck . Too bad as they would have done a great deal for road safety especially in Phoenix traffic .
Please measure your lights before ordering. These bulbs measure 1-1/2" from the contact pins to the top of the bulb and 3/8" from the bottom of the cluster to the 1st pin.

I have a 75 chevy 1/2 ton pu . Do I need to buy the flasher to have these LED bulbs work ??

A special low-load flasher (such as our 91064110) or a pair of “dummy load” resistors( 91003030) will almost always be needed. LED lights require so little “juice” that the conventional flasher can’t cope.
