Will this item work on wheel studs?

Most wheel studs are pressed in and out... If your are sure you have threaded studs, this item may work for you... We removed exhaust studs with it from a 440 BB with no problems. Just keep in mind that whatever you remove, it's best to replace with a new stud, this tool bites down hard of the stud and compresses the thread pattern some.

Usually wheel studs are pressed in not threaded. This tool is designed to grip a stud as it it rotated. If you do have wheel studs that are threaded then yes this stud removal tool would work for that. Also keep in mid most wheel studs are 1/2" or 5/8" and this tool will only work on studs that are up to 7/16" in diameter.
